Fortunately I am still alive and doing well in such a crazy world. I am stunned by recent events, from my own thoughts on Prop 8 to the attacks in Mumbai. Things are so horrible and full of hatred, it is quite honestly sad. Fortunately I am here safe, alive and thankful for so many things.
I'm squeaking by with little sleep and so much more to accomplish before Monday. Next week is crap week. Five exams and one rather large paper. Somehow I will survive. Before I entered into the pre-crap week, I took last week to relax, have fun and enjoy myself. Fortunately I was relaxed, unfortunately the work kept piling up before my eyes. Soon, it will all be gone and a new pile of greatness will begin.
I've almost completed all my commitment hours in the ER. I love it there, the people are amazing, however, I find myself wanting to move into the next level of an ER - TRAUMA. So, I think I'll stick around my current location for another month or so, get settled into Spring Semester and get into the trauma ER. Should be fun.
Once again, I am praying to get into a class. This one was an expected no admittance...hard when about 100 people are fighting for 24 spots. Sometimes I wonder what the Bio department is thinking. Still waiting to hear back from CSU Sacramento for Fall. Still applying in June.
Wow. I've done so much and yet so little.
