Spring Break

It is Spring Break and I'm done.  I am done in the sense that I've completed my Spring Break and I now move back into school mode.

Let me back it up a bit...

Saturday, H flew in from Seattle and we traveled to Sonoma for wine barrel tasting.  It was fantastic!  The weather was beautiful, although a bit windy.  The futures were tasty, although they need some work and will be a nice once two years has past.  We were able to meet up with my cousin and her hubby, who hadn't been tasting in the Sonoma Valley.  H and I showed them the ropes, had some excellent food in the Square and were on our way.  Our first stop is one of my favorites, influenced by my folks: St Francis.  We spent a majority of our Saturday afternoon there and even snuck into the "Members Only" room under the cover of my mother.  Bought some wine for the folks and moved onto the creepy castle that is Ledson.  After Ledson, we parted ways from my cousin and the hubby.  H sacked out for a nap, I watched an incredible show on the Discovery Channel and then we were off to dinner in Downtown Santa Rosa.  The next day, we hit three places, including another favorite, Valley of the Moon.  The scene at the Valley of the Moon was incredible in the sense that you felt like you were secluded in this little wine oasis, with artwork, food and acostical guitar playing in the background.  It was a perfect way to end the tasting weekend and thus, we headed back north to home.  H got to visit with J&J, I know they miss her!

Monday, H and I went to see Juno.  Might I add, an amazing little Indie film that deserves more props than it has been given.  It was a great laugh and to be honest, one of the better films I have seen in quite some time...which in all honesty, isn't really saying much because I have not been to the theater in several months.  Dropped H off after a tasty beer and salad-styled dinner (ironic, right? but you know you've done it before...) and drove my tired ass home.  And that ended my "Spring Break."

Today I had to work and after my nice run, I have yet to be inspired to study.  So, I'll save it, start tomorrow and prepare for the last five weeks of class.  On a bad note, the two classes I was to take in the summer are full, so I need to charm my way into the classes.   Wish me luck on that one.  Hopefully I will still have some hair on my head by the time I "hopefully" get in.

And to venture off my last post of iPhone versus Blackberry, I still have not decided... and depending on how you look at it, instead of contemplating this decision through the end of June, I now have until the end of August.  That is unless i want to pay $175.  Yea, so it is still a tough decision...

Off to read a non-school related book.
