16 to 24

16 to 24. What a huge difference time makes.

The first and last time I took at a class at my future educational institution (starting Monday!) was when I was 16. I was on top of the world, taking a very hard class with the average age of the class around 32. Clearly, I was the youngest, the next was 28, the oldest being ~45. I was smart, naive, but I had a dream. When I grew up I wanted to be a doctor.

Yesterday, I walked on campus. Again, I felt like I was on top of the world. Nervous, yes. Exciting, you bet. But, the difference in my sensational feeling was maturity. I always felt too young to be in college, but I felt smart. Last night, I felt too old to be BACK in college, but the more I thought about it, the more I walked around to get myself reacquainted with my new surroundings, I am mature enough to not to care how old I may feel. This is going to be fun, exciting, thrilling and challenging. I am positive of this. This is a fact, not an opinion.

The dream is the same. When I grow up, I will be a doctor.
